While at Saint Mary’s College, she studied and lived abroad in Rome, Italy for a year. She also spent a summer living in Antigua, Guatemala where she volunteered at a nearby children’s shelter. After graduation, she studied at the Oxford House College in Barcelona, Spain where she received her TESOL certificate to teach English as a Second Language.
Genevieve began her career as an immigration paralegal working on the family-based side of immigration. After four years, she decided to expand her knowledge by switching to employment-based immigration. She has now been working in employment-based immigration for over twelve years. She works on a wide range of cases from H-1Bs, PERMs, I-140s, National Interest Waivers, J-1 Waivers, Adjustment of Status, Naturalization, Consular Processing, and Family-Based Petitions. She has over 16 years of experience working closely with immigration attorneys.
Her fluency in Spanish, love of other cultures, and joy in helping others navigate the complex immigration process help Genevieve to serve the diverse needs of Bruner Law Group’s clientele.
